Our Team responded on Saturday afternoon (June 02/2007) to a call from the Woodstock RCMP concerning a lost child in the Debec area.
The 3 year old girl went missing from the garage area of a local residence at about 2:35 PM. Our Team had the assistance of York-Sunbury
Ground Search & Rescue, Dept. of Natural Resources Forest Rangers with a tracking dog, a SAR Cormorant helicopter from CFB Greenwood,
members from several area Fire Departments and local volunteers. The child was was found responsive and unharmed except for a
few minor cuts by a Carleton Ground Search & Rescue search team under the direction of Team Captain Terry Burpee at about 9:20PM
Saturday evening. Our Team wishes to thank all the groups and individuals who helped bring this task to a timely and successful conclusion.
